The location was excellent as it was just a short walk to the corner and across the street. Also, the convenience to restaurants and entertainment was confirmed. Since we stayed there before a cruise, it was nice to have a 24-hour CVS very near us because we couldn't fly with any extra drinks or snacks we wanted to bring on board with us. The staff there was tiny yet mighty. When we had a question, they took care to answer and manage quickly. Even though they did not have a cruise shuttle, the Uber ride was only about $20 for both of us to get to the port, which is less than some hotels charge per person to ride their shuttles.

Fabulous location between the beach and the Intercoastal waterway. Casablanca restaurant was a block away and across from the beach, excellent! Perfect breakfasts. Lots of restaurants nearby. Walking distance to Las Olas. CVS drug store nearby. I felt safe walking there. The 1940s Hotel is not fancy. It is a hidden gem for people who care about location. There is a large outdoor sitting area with tables between the two buildings and lit up at night. We enjoyed meeting other guests there. Our large room on the ground floor was updated, beautiful and very clean. Marble bathroom. I would definitely stay there again.

For the price you couldn't find a better room at the location it is in. Just a 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach and a 5 minute walk to CVS and numerous gift shops, resturants and bars. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. I stayed here a few nights before my cruise and came back for an extra night before flying home. Love the Drift House. It is a wonderful small place amoug the giant motels surrounding it (next door and building one next door)

The location is amazing! We had to find a last minute hotel after our flight got canceled and were very pleasantly surprised we found this gem! So clean and newly remodeled, perfect location, very staff. Only downsides were the lack of standard options like ice, breakfast, water as advertised, but extras that were wonderful such as beach chairs, body boards, beach towels, outdoor shower area for keeping sand our of your room. We will definitely return!

I loved how friendly and helpful the staff were! They provided me with a hair dryer for my stay. I love the beautiful design of the rooms. I love the beautiful courtyard with chairs to relax in and lights. The room was spacious and well-furnished, with a desk, stools, a closet, and a mini fridge. There is also a place to borrow a beach chair, towel, and umbrella which is very convenient.
